As with the student, the attitude of the teacher affects achievement. If the teacher believes the student cannot learn, he will not learn. On the other hand, a teacher who believes the student can learn will develop the dedication, patience, and skills needed to help the student succeed.
Ignacio Estrada said it best with this, "If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn."
