Your student might have a tricky time accepting that he had an incorrect answer.  Let him know that the way we learn is by discovering what doesn’t work.  A mistake isn’t really a bad thing, it means we missed it, but we can do it again.
Issues to be aware of:  Be aware of changes in behavior, sudden loss of friends, a decrease in problem solving skills, changes in vision, impaired or hypersensitive hearing, lessening of emotional control, a decline in short term memory, an increase in confusion.  Be aware of decreases in his functioning level.
If you notice any of these issues, or any other unexplained or sudden changes, be sure to bring your concerns to the right person immediately.  They can be signs of serious conditions.
